We just made this much loved food carnival a tad more tangy! Our goal was to increase online social media engagement between visitors, exhibitors and the celebrity chefs taking part.
We achieved this by installing two Social Hubb’s on the Dubai Food Carnival website:
One Social Hubb focused on official posts and announcements from Dubai Food Carnival while the second Hubb featured content from celebrity chefs and local restaurants taking part in the event. Yes, even tips from chefs for Michelin starred restaurants!
During the carnival we installed a Social Hubb on a large outdoor LED screen at the venue to engage with visitors and generate photo content using the #DubaiFoodCarnival.
Over the course of a 4 week period before and during the event we tracked over 3,900 posts using the #DubaiFoodCarnival and curated 850 posts for the carnivals Social Hubbs.
